Advent-Day 15

This morning we went to a bowling with Santa thing at the local bowling alley and, since we were the first ones there, we actually got to bowl in the same lane with Santa. Some little boy was THRILLED.

Then we came home, hung the ornament he made at yesterday’s Dickens Christmas thing

The lady said that he was the only one who colored the snowman (although they had crayons all over the table) and then said "You're a weird kid, aren't you? Well, good for you! Let your freak flag fly!" lol

and then cleaned and prepped the house for our weekly dinner with Gramma and Papa. They came over for tacos (and chocolate tacos for dessert because Brady saw a kit and HAD to try them) and then we painted some ornaments that they brought.

After that it was time for a shower, pjs, and a reading of Just a Snowman before bed. Our days from here on out will be fairly low-key. Mostly baking and crafting to get things ready for the holiday. All the crazy running around has been fun, but I think we’re ready to stay home and make some goodies now.  How are things in your homeschool?
